The Masters - 2012

Jonathan Byrd @ 250/1 is worth a small gamble, not long before he steps up to the Major forefront.
I'm also gonna have Bo Van Pelt @ 80/1 he's leading the putting averages which is so important at Augusta.

Like the look of Peter Hansen who is around the 150/1 mark. Angel Cabera loves it round Augusta and played well last week - 100/1.

I've watched every year since Greg Norman crumbled and Faldo won. I'm really excited about it this year, I think it's between Rory and Tiger and would love to see them as the final pairing on the last day shooting it out. I'll be backing Rory and 2 e/w bets on Fowler and Bubba Watson.

What price another winner from Northern Ireland?
Or from the island?

Rory McIlroy is second favourite with Paddy Power at 11/2. Next in the betting is GMac @ 66/1. Harrington is priced @ 90/1 and Darren Clarke is the outsider @ 300/1.

Think Harrington might be a interesting player. Has done ok at the Masters he is my wildcard is slowly showing some form and his link up with the new coach is doing him the world of good. Always makes sures he peaks at the majors I expect him to make the cut at least and in the final 2 rounds anything can happen.

Backed Donald at 20/1 a few weeks ago before he won on the US tour.

Certain players have done consistently well there, with multiple victories.
Nicklaus (6), Woods (4), Mickleson (3), Faldo (3), Player (3), Seve (2), Watson (2), Olazabal (2).

Some of the biggest names in the sport. However we've had outsiders like Schwartzel, Cabrera, Johnson & Immelman who've recently won it from off the radar.

Woods will be hard to beat.

I think Justin Rose has a chance at 33/1. Finished T5, T36, T20, & T11 last 4 times he's played there.

Finished off with a 68 last year and would've been a lot closer if it wasn't for a nightmare back 9 on Day 1 (+3) and a poor front 9 on Day 2 (+4 after 7).

16 Birdies and an Eagle over 72 holes shows he understands the course and the greens.

Recently won a couple of big U.S. events BMW (Oct 11) & WGC Cadillac (March 12), which will give him plenty of confidence.

Good shout mate, I'm torn between having Fowler or Rose as an each way, defo having Bubba at 33/1, Fowler is a big price and he'll come close to winning a big one this year so I don't know what to do because Rose is always near the top in the majors.

I've backed Bubba Watson 50/1, made 7 cuts recently, massive hitter, chance taker and left hander. Could do something special this year.
