As it stands he didn't sign for the wrong score because the rules officials had deemed at that time he hadn't transgressed the rules.dref619 said:Surely though, if he hadn't been hit with the two shot penalty at the time of the scorecard being signed, then he hasn't signed for a wrong scorecard. So he then signed for a score that had been ratified by said officials.
The problem he then had was he then openly said he'd dropped at a specific distance away from his original shot.
