The Masters Golf

I'm not sure how he's stayed out in front, Saturday and Sunday it feels like he's just hacked his way around, looks like Rory has done enough though.

Rory's defended the Masters, never been so easy for him, despite missing nearly every fairway.

Fair play, after all those years, he's gone and done it back-to-back.

Been a weird tournament, threatened to be a classic then fizzled out. Rose will be kicking himself at his mistakes when two clear.

Well done Rory, he played well after wobbling early. I don’t mind the guy and at least his dad’s a blue.

He actually hacked it around Thursday and Friday too, his recovery shots were unbelievable and I don’t think anyone else including Scheffler could have scored what he did the first two rounds with how he was off the tee. At his best, he really is up there with Woods.

Today l thought he was just superb and I wasn’t expecting it. Shows how much it takes to get over the line though, to win after the day he had yesterday and how many were chasing after him, that’s up there with his US Open win for me.

He’s an absolute joy to watch. What a player and a person Rose is too, so gutted he hasn’t won this tournament.

Thursday Friday he was the second worst driver in the field but his putting and recovery shots were excellent

Saturday his recovery shots didn’t come off so had a bad round.

Sunday he fixed his driving, but the putter wasn’t really doing much.

He came into the tournament injured and out of form and basically every preview said don’t expect much from him, so will be interesting to see how his year goes if he finds some form off the back of this.

He’ll get some form at some point as he always does every year but I wouldn’t be surprised if he has a similar season to last year now.

It’s why he’s so good to watch though. When he’s on, he’s up there with the best that’s ever played but he switches between on and off even in rounds let alone tournaments or a period of time. He’s never had a prolonged drop off though and he’s had opponents playing unbelievable golf for periods against too and whilst they change, he’s always still up there.

Spieth, Thomas, Koepka, Rahm, Scheffler. He’s been all of their main rival. It’s ridiculous really,

Who puts the green jacket on a back-to-back champ?

Never seen it and can't remember Woods.
I have a vague memory of Faldo winning his second in a row and he requested for it to be Jack Nicklaus (or maybe Tom Watson) but the club captain did it in the end.
