you can't find someone homeless? are you taking the piss?

No sorry, what I mean is I get a bit guilty because when the weather is like this I feel so sad for every homeless person I see and I used to pick someone I thought was 'worthy', this year I will give it to the first one I see, regardless of how they look or how I precieve them.

fair play to you. Me being a cynic I'd be thinking the 80 to 100 bob would be gone straight up their nose or in their arm, or pissed down the inside of their trousers.
Might be a better idea to give it to a homeless shelter that will feed many of them.

To be fair if I was in their prediciment I'd probably spend it on horse or something myself so who am I to jude? Alright saying 'lets' not give to the homeless because they'll spend it on booze and drugs" but what am I going to do with the money?!

i can see your points. but giving it to a shelter is not what i would do.

let them get loads of junkfood and super strength lager. they have nothing else in their lives.. a couple of days of fun would be great.

not in all cases, but a lot, it is a couple of days too much fun that has got them in that scenario..

I stopped giving money to the homeless for a while when I found out from an expert that right now there is a bed available for everyone in hostels etc. They choose to live on the street and are all addicts.

But then I found out more about heroin addiction and I give them money again all the time even though I know it's going into the arm.

i know you are right. its just that putting a big smile on their face would be priceless :)
