These day bans/week bans/ month bans etc are not working.

Something so tasteless and ill timed it was reported within a minute of him posting it.

Mate, thats rubbish , i posted the joke well after he was making a good recovery and it was aimed at Torres not scoring, i certainty didn't mean any offence and there is far worse on other threads

I'm quite sure that's utter bullshit. It was the timing of your post that made it worse, not so much the actual content.
I can't be arsed looking now but I will find the date of your ban and the thread you posted the joke in.
