Was there one called the regiment or something like that ?
Yes but that was a little further away than these, I think that was in the middle of the industrial estate and now it is part of apartments that Worsley no doubt built.

Spent my 16th in Watson’s on the sensimilla and Special Brew, Broadfield Rd.As a silly young lad I had to do community service, part of that was gutting the old Robinson/Watson’s shebeen, which was off baraclough rd (if I remember right), there were bullet holes throughout the cellar.
Do you mean the rugby club on the opposite corner? Wracking my brain now trying to think what it was called, it was a shithole.
Somebody else on here reminded me it was called the Tudor Lodge.I only knew it as the "dogs home", but it did have a couple of pitches. I knew the owner a big "large" bloke and I am struggling to remember his name. It should have been called "The Alammo".

You've got me thinking now, was it not black and white? Mock Tudor?Ah it was, though it bore little resemblance to Tudor in Architecture nor could hardly be described as a lodge.
