Whilst going into a degree of detail the likes I have never before seen, he has pretty much hit the nail on the head.

Good article and I agree with everything except for one bit.....the summary. I don't think he is good enough for City for all the reasons explained.

There is no mystery. He's one of the best substitutes in the league. Not someone who's gonna affect the game for 90 minutes, but a great player to turn to when you're struggling to break a team down, as we struggled to do many times towards the end of last season.

I really rate AJ very highly. Sometimes I think I'm the only one on here that does, so nice to read that there are others. Very skillful, fantastic eye for a pass, and a great finisher. How he didn't go to the Euros I'll never know.

Complete lack of pace and also lack of acceleration. Good at turning tired full backs inside out from the bench, but consistently ineffective on a more level playing field

nothing annoys me more when the likes of talkshite, spout on for hours about city not giving johnson a chance, and he's better than a just impact player. fact is he wasn't last year. whenever he started, he didn't do much. but when he comes on as a sub, he really makes an impact (more often than not).
