BAHAHAHAHA Calling us glory seekers?..Never thought I'd see the day.
You're bang out of order TMQ. The biggest aeroplane-related disaster known to man was 9/11 and the rags never tried to latch themselves onto that.TheMightyQuinn said:Honestly, if, God forbid, any other club suffered a plane crash, the rags would be fuming that an other club had 'outdone' them on the tragedy front.

The default setting for some Rags when talking about parades seems to be to post the same pic of a packed Deansgate taken 13 years ago when they won the treble (yes, as someone who had the misfortune to be passing through town that day I can confirm it was a big turnout but they are the biggest supported club in the country and the world and they had just achieved something that no other English team had ever done so it's hardly anything to write home about), but to blatantly ignore their utterly shit turnout for a far more recent - and therefore relevant - parade last year. And unlike them lying twats bagging on our parade last week, we have overwhelming photographic and video evidence to back up our claims that hardly any **** turned up at theirs last year.

With regards the packed picture of United in 1999.
You might want to mention Deansgate would look like this on any occasion where the police had decided not to put a perimeter or barricades either side of the bus.
Health and safety these days don't want people under a bus!
Looks exactly the same for the Bupa run when there are 25,000 people at the start and finishing lines.
Put the estimated 100,000 blues who were on the streets last week on Deansgate and would look like a million people.
Just like when they said a million marched against Iraq or a million stand outside Buckingham Palace.
Bullshit, sounds good though.
GMP puts Deansgate capacity at 80,000.
Just to start off with I'm a United fan.
As the youth cup final was on the same day as city's parade I managed to see what Manchester was like for that. It was absolutely jam packed, I could barely walk, the trams were full, the tram stations were full.
I did go to our "parade" which was an embarrasment, I could barely believe it when the news said there was 100,000+ fans or whatever. That was obviously was a lot of bollocks.
