Anybody been to the nags head in macc to see a band , is it a good venue ?

Going this friday to Watch a tribute band Pretty Green a tribute to the jam

Decent sized pub, sometimes has united flags outside so I’ve never been in to be honest, I’d go to the castle round the corner for some great pints in a top pub, then just pop across the road to see the band.

Used to go to the Nags Head all the time, about 30 years ago. Not a large venue really for music but good enough , seems to be mainly tribute bands these days

Seen my son’s old band play in there a couple of times. It’s not very big, but it’s decent enough

Yes been a bit back when used to live over that way. Good venue, little cramped but good atmosphere.
