The name of that referee?

I am glad this thread has appeared....i wondered if it was just me when holding the view that Atwells performance tonight was utterly inexcusable, thankfully it has not cost us points for once, but dear god someone has to get a grip of the fucking dire abysmal standard of refereeing.

Here are the foul stats from his last two performances against us. Both games against teams in the relegation zone. Incredibly shady considering the gulf in quality between the two sides.

I've defended refs as much as possible all season even when we've had poor decisions but I was left gobsmacked tonight.

The worst thing is, he didn't get something wrong that change the result so will probably get away with it.

Didn't he not give us a pen when Dzeko was put in a headlock in the penalty area against Wolves a few years ago?

It was he who awarded the ghost goal for Reading v Watford when the ball was over the byline 4 yards from post Judging on his decisions tonight his eye sight hasn't improved, the booking for Sergio, turning his back, and Fernandinho for being elbowed missing the DeFoe second elbow beggars belief and where did he get5 mins from and played over 6?

No I thought he was OK as well.

We've had shit ref after shit ref this season, everyone wants Leicester to win or Arsenal after them and next it will be Spurs in the coming weeks

I thought he was ok, terrible game and we got out huddled. I'm normally complaining about refs but I genuinely felt we were a yard off the pace

Why wolves?

Because that was the single most biased refereeing performance I have ever seen in 35 years of watching football. He without doubt cheated that day, but unfortunately for him we were so superior it did not matter in the end. Some of his decisions were beyond belief and would have been embarrassing for a referee at any level yet he did it from the first minute to the last. I'm sure he must cried himself to sleep that night such was his hell-bent devotion in trying to affect the game towards Wolves. I presumed he was bumped back down to Sunday League level as we have not had him since but his dislike for anything Man City burns bright. Though I must say today was mild compared to that home games against Wolves. He's a cheating twat, End of.
