In all honesty I should have won, but for two missed headers.
 
Probably the best place to put this...I'd never really seen him play in Spainso didn't chip into the Negredo v Cavani debate. I'm quite impressed at the pace he showed for a big lad, last night.
 
I don't understand where people were coming from saying he's slow and hasn't much technical ability. He's got great technique and good pace from what I've seen. Last nights goal reminded me of Paul Stewart, same strength and power.
 
Exhibits wonderful technique in scoring that goal by making a run in between to centre halfs.

Decent speed, headers, right foot, left foot and timely positioning.

You can see in this video that he scores about 50% with his left, 25% with his right, and 25% with his head.

Match against Bayern was right foot, so I think statistically, we can expect quite a few more goals with his left in the coming games!

I like this video. The more I see of this boy the more happy I am that we have him in our side.
