Genuinely no idea how anyone really though one of the most obviously divisive figures in British politics would be a good idea tbh. Whether you like her or not, everyone is fully aware that quite a large percentage of people have pretty strong feelings about her that aren't exactly positive... That's before you even get into the fairly obvious fact that she wasn't a scientist

Turing as a compromise but it should be Hawking, best mind the human race has ever produced and overcame disability to do it.They are looking for SCIENTISTS to feature on the new note. I love the Turing vote as the UK treated the lad like shit and owe him an apology, but it's Hawking for me.For me its Turing for his wartime contribution or Lovelace for her contribution to computing before it was computing as it were
