The new "it's quiet thread" no slanging matches

Cant see anything happening until WC well and truly over.

1) If Spain win no doubt wild celebrations in SA
2) Monday All the team have day off to reflect in their collective glory
3) Tuesday fly home
4) Wednesday open top bus ride more celebrations
5) Thurs Squad meet for final time before they go on holibobs
6) Fri Torres in particular ,may have meeting with his reps to decide future but wants time to think on it
7) Fri Torres goes on holibobs
8) Sat no news
9 Sun no news
10) Monday makes decision
11) Tuesday real negotiations start
12) Wednesday see Tuesday
13) Thursday agrees deal - If staying at Liverpool we will all know 22nd July
14) If it is us waits till we come back from states if Chelsea, signs on Friday 23rd July

fair enough,but what about.

Milner
Ballotelli
kolarkov (sp)

with the exception of Milner,the rest must be back in training.

Ancelotti quoted as saying City will sign Dzeko & Kolarov. It's on newsnow
 
Still reckon Torres deal will happen whether in our favour or not before any other transfers are done (hope I am wrong) and how come arry thinks we are bidding for Torres and Ancellotti thinks we are after Dzeko and Kolorov are these fuckers ITK, all we need is baconface to put his twopenneth in. (Or are they getting a little worried about us)
 
The only thing about Dzeko and Balotelli we could have signed these players months ago IF we had really wanted to. IMO something happened along the way for these deals to be sidetracked and the only thing I can think of is that we became aware that Torres might leave Liverppol. That is why we concluded the deals for Boetang Yaya and in particular Silva. And nothing has changed my mind that until the Torres deal is done one way or another no other player will sign for us. My only problem is Ibra and not his playing career that deal looks to be have been done before Torres because ITKs are expecting him to go on tour with us which means, if we were only signing one striker, that would put paid to Torres if it is two strikers, back to the Torres deal needing to be sorted. Milner Luis and Kolorov all need completing as well but in terms of completion they are simple.

I can not believe City are in the market for 2 strikers. Perhaps we have a series of targets for 1 position i.e Torres, or Dzeko, or Ballotelli

Dunno mate but if it was Dzeko only we could have paid the sell out clause transfer business done and dusted. Next target please. Not been helped by ITKs (not blaming them for one minute) and endless speculation in papers. In many respects feel as though should sack this forum for a couple of weeks and wait for OS to announce signings but do enjoy the specualtion so I suppose can't have it both ways. At least in less than a fortnight will be able to watch pre season friendlies and as soon as they start they will be a distraction from this place.

Ancellotti, is quoted saying, Mancini is putting together a very strong squad and looks as if he will add Dzeko and Kolorov to it.

So i think he's going more of rumour than actually being ITK.
