I know there was only a small percentage of us who were there but I cant apologise for saying YES I WAS THERE

Awwww, I really was at York away and now no one believes me. My lasting memories, a mammoth journey time... the cause, a guy collecting 50 pence tolls (he got a few thrown at him from the coach as we passed) and they'd run out of pies before it was even half time!! However, I was not there on Sunday but was watching from Guatemala in my PJ's... gutted, but gutted enough to pretend I really was there...??? ...only time will tell.

I had a ticket for Sunday but two weeks I ago I new I couldn't make the game, had arranged to go somewhere with my lass so I gave it to my mate who's never been to a swamp derby before. Last week me and my lass split up but I'd already given my ticket away. I'll never give a ticket away again until the very last minute !

Was at York away

Not there on Sunday, but I know two who were at both and the 5-1 in 1989.

Though one of them went to Vienna too.

He was 13 then with his Dad.

Can't be many.

I reckon I'll be one of the youngest who was at both the 5-1 was my first ever Maine road derby as a 5 (nearly 6) year old sat with my old fella in the Maine stand and Sunday I was stood there as a 27 (nearly 28) year old with exactly the same man, I really can't thank my dad enough for bringing me up blue!!!
