The Non-Moaners Thread

There are people on here moaning about the moaners.
And now there are people moaning about the people moaning about the moaners.

This forum is definitely called Bluemoan for a reason.

Crikey, now I'm moaning too.
I think that's why I like it on here. I browsed for a good while before joining, sussing you all out. I like a good moan and can moan about anything. This morning it was about the wood pigeon cooing outside the window at 6 am, don't know why I moaned about that as I have bird feeders everywhere to attract them. Anyway your football team is like your family. It's probably why we all get so upset and hurt when things don't work out, it's a bit more personal. Probably why we all forgive too. It's good that there is always someone on here who holds a similar viewpoint whatever that maybe, means you feel less odd!

Cup final defeats are always hard to take so I can understand why people are having a good post match moan. The season as a whole has been incredible during what has been a very dark time for a lot of people. Time and again our players turned on the style and broke football records galore, won matches and like always chased all the trophies we were in for.
Like all match going fans I hated not being in the ground on match day. Having to watch the match on the telly listening to tossers like Martin Tyler and Ian Darke rather than being there to make my own assessment of what is one of the great teams of the Premier League era.
I went to the Carabou Cup Final and was totally blown away by how good our team is. I couldn't believe that the TV commentators and journalists who were lucky enough to be watching this team live weren't relaying back to their audience the quality of the football they had the privilege to watch. While the rest of us were practically locked in our own homes.
I've just got back from a fantastic weekend in Porto. I haven't seen any replays of the game and probably never will. The team underperformed on the night and maybe Pep got things a little bit wrong. Despite falling at the final hurdle this has been a great season. We've got our trophy back from the Dippers, hope it's still in tact, and as usual won the League Cup. I'm already looking forward to next season. Chin up Blues the best may yet still be in front of us.

Looking forward too next season now, how we all thinking we will set up next season? formation wise

We are definitely in for a CF so we will not see the false 9 formation as much. How do we feel about the defence setup, maybe 3 at the back with wb's in a 5 man midfield?

We dominate possession but I would love to see that creative free flowing spark come back with a vengence next season as we look to retain the league title and go for the CL again

We are obviously going to come up against the 'low block' so we are going to have to have our 1-2 passing moves nailed down

Can I moan about the moaners?
Incredible season. The 'super league' aside, the Club have been fantastic, the team have delivered another two trophies, we have the best manager in the world and folk lose their shit because we didnt win a CL final and Pep chose Gundogan instead of Fern. Really? I cant believe the stuff that is being thrown at Pep and some of the players. Good job they don't read this forum thats for sure. As a fan base, we are morphing into what we have always despised, self entitled c*nts like the Dippers and Rags. Shame.
For some people, it's not a process anymore, they are already there.

It means we got to a final and a semi - only available to two and four teams.
Compared to a club that draws too much attention in this forum (for some people, even more attention than developments related to City), it also means that reaching a final and a SF is significantly better than getting knocked at the group stages (and in the process failing in the EL) and the QF, respectively (nevermind how they performed in the league and the Carabao)...

It's ridiculous and totally unfair to summarise a team's season performance in a presentation of like 4 sentences, but if people insist on achievements, I'm sorry, you have to put everything on the table -and compare the whole package to what other clubs have to offer. City did much much more than what was expected in an unbelievably complicated season, reaching heights noone could have possibly predicted in December. Furthermore, there are massive lessons to be learnt, in both the tactical as well as the mental aspect, the football community will be discussing this City for years ahead...

David is right. City are the most successful team in the world for the 2020-2021 campaign. By far...

We are the champions of England for f""*s sake, nothing I would rather be. Nowt whatever to moan about. Mid table mediocrity is something to moan about and we had thirty years of that and far worse. Let's take pride in our club every other club even Chelsea would like to be us. Think how the rags feel lose the also rans cup and no other trophy to cheer them.
