The Number 23

Never assign number 23 to anybody on football manager.

Obviously its unavailable whilst managing City, but all other clubs I manage (currently Palermo) I always refrain from using 23

I too assign it to my virtual pro on FIFA and do not allow any other player to use it.

ive got foe on the game, i downloaded him off creationcentre, but he has the number 23 obviously. it sounds really sad but ive got him all the best stats (even goalkeeping) so he's almost invincible on it, not that i ever use him... i just wanted him to be better than any other player. RIP FOE

I have a Foe shirt from when he was playing for us and ive retired it, never wore it since he passed.

As you may of noticed I also have it in my user name

i have always found the number 23 to be weird, infact i consider it similar to 13 in a way so i never use it in anything, and if i have to then i do the spectacles, testicles, wallet and watch routine to the big man himself

I know this is a pretty random question to ask but anyway I'm currently hammering FIFA 11 and bought Hulk from Porto, anyway when he signed he was given the number 23 shirt and as soon as I noticed I changed it to 30.

I've just kind of clocked that I do this with every football game from FIFA and Pro to Champ and Footie Manager I avoid using the number 23 was wondering if anyone does the same? My rag mates think am sad for doing it so was wondering if I was on my own.

As long as you, and all the others on this thread, are under 14 then it's only a bit sad.

It's not sad at all mate. I think on the champ manager game I had mikel bischoff was number 23. I was like NO WAY!! That is and always will be regarded and the great man Marc Vivien Foe's number.

Don't understand pal?? We implies me as well and tbf the only time I mention the word scousers is if the sentence begins with the words "have you ever been robbed by......." Or "I tell you who I'd love to see get relegated this season........" But anyway looks like I've offended people by just askin if anyone respects the 23 shirt like I do cause I was being called sad from it.

I respect peoples opinion and that but a simple "no" or "its just a game really" would of done but sometimes people have got to try and make an impression to be either funny about it and try gettin a few laughs or just try showing people up. But hey I don't judge if that's how people roll then fair enough no harm done I guess.
