Interesting days 1 action. Smashed us early thanks to that shit Johnson dished up, then one wicket led to 6. No doubt in my mind you guys are on top, runs on the board all day everyday.
Would like to say there, your batting line up is rubbish. Strauss looked ok yesterday, but was dropped by Ritz and dropped off a no-ball, and basically just put mitch away. Bopara isnt a number 3, he isnt even international standard. He hit a few tons against the windies? bit deal, so did martin love.... bell MUST bat at 3. kp looks in terrible form, hilfenhaus and siddle and rattling him, prior and freddie look like its going to be a four or a wicket every ball, and the rest just hang around at the end and dont do much.
And Cook is no good at all. Terribly floored technique, just very lucky yesterday johnson was bowling pies. He has gone out now twice to straight balls falling across his pad and fishing outside off in Cardiff.
I think if we can roll you for 450 (or less) its game on! Im expecting a big one from one P.Hughes...

Bitter experience has tought me that pessimistic realism is a far more realistic requirement than optimism when watching England.
