Not on dipper tv according to my virgin epg. If it was on the OS, it would be here http://live.mcfc.co.uk/, but no sign of it yet.

Re: EDS on CityTV?

City will field a strong EDS XI against Liverpool at Hyde on Wednesday – and you can watch the game for FREE.

With the match kicking off at noon, this is an ideal opportunity to run your eye over the latest crop of young talent with one or two more experienced names likely to be on show, too.

Fresh from a 4-1 win over Hyde at Ewen Fields last Friday night, Andy Welsh’s side will hope to put on a good show for what is likely to be a bumper crowd.

Though no squad has been announced, Spanish youngsters Joan Roman and Dennis Suarez could feature as well as one or two players currently on trial with the Blues at present.

So if you’re running out of ideas of how to entertain the kids already, get yourself and the youngsters down to Hyde tomorrow for what should be an entertaining couple of hours with some of the future stars of City.

i would think that means admission to the ground is free

I put that earlier but the OP was talking about something Joan Angel Roman tweeted.

Re: EDS on CityTV?

I sent the club a long email the other day pleading with them to improve their coverage of the EDS and academy, including more games streamed but especially actual profiles of the players like Liverpool's website does. The video profiles of some of the lads were a good start but videos quickly slip into the archives while profiles remain permanent and prominent. I said there seems to be a lack of interest and awareness in our youth/reserve system and that doing this could only improve that. Streaming at least one of the recent EDS games featuring Bellers, Ned, and Bridge mixed with many of our young players was a great opportunity to increase interest in the EDS worldwide. Hope they listen anyway. :P

The streaming part mate is unfortunately down to cost, apparently it is very expensive to stream an EDS game live on the site so they will only do it a few times a season and save it for the bigger games. I am hoping though that they will ramp up the exposure EDS gets as I do agree It needs doing....

Re: EDS on CityTV?

Surely we have enough money in the coffers to stream they're just not willing to use it or they could charge us for those of us who can't make it to the games.

Rather than start a new thread...

56 mins City make it 1-0 when D'Angelo plays a one two with Suarez before cutting inside and firing in off the near post
