Interesting game tonight I thought. For a while I thought we would get battered as Fenerbahce were much better with and without the ball and we were chasing shadows. That lasted maybe 30/35 minutes but even though they looked good they weren't actually threatening to score that often.

Equally though we were doing very little. Suarez looked good on the ball,Pozo showed some nice touches and late on had a decent effort saved but Hiwula was hardly involved.

2nd half was different and it seemed to me that Fenerbahce visibly tired, we pressed better as we did at the back end of the first half and Suarez, playing mostly wide left started to dictate the game. The first pen looked soft to me but the ref was in a good position.

The Huws goal was quite good with a lucky deflection but just as with the penalty it came from a run straight at their defence.Where in the first half they were fairly solid now they were wide open. The 2nd pen for me was a blatant dive and I thought that's what the ref had given but I must have been wrong (?)

Fenerbahce tried to get back at us but their quality had gone and with more composure we would have scored again as a number if times we won the ball to run at them but made nothing of it.

I am just not sure how good we were compared to how the opposition just ran out of steam very early
It was only when we started getting the ball out wide that we got into the game, their number 10 and Their David luiz were bossing the central midfield till then, both looked quality

Agreed their number 10 did look very good. Getting the ball wide was almost all about getting it to Suarez.

Really impressed with George Evans, I think he's quality.

Sorry just don't see it. Some of his defensive work was quite good but I thought his passing wasnt very good, his touch and control very average and he isnt very composed under pressure.

On the contrary I thought his range of passing was excellent, made some great tackles and worked very hard. Are you sure you talking about the big tall guy in the middle?

Just shows he games/players are seen differently by different people. Made some good tackles yes, worked very hard yes but I thought his passing was avarege as was his control/touch (some of his tackles came from poor touches) and I think he really struggles when put under pressure in midfield. Not a bad player but far from special imo.

The boy we were trying to sign this summer did a number on Spurs tonight it looks like:

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2202942/Tottenham-0-Barcelona-2-Sergi-Samper-hot-Spurs-kids.html#ixzz26OI88MoX" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... z26OI88MoX</a>

Spurs got 9,000 for this game which is impressive.

9000 is a great crowd. It's really disappointing that we got such a low crowd tonight and for the other games. Is it just down to bad advertising of the game, where it's being played or what?

Watched that game last night Barcelona were fantastic. Just like watching the senior side. Samper was a great player. You never really saw him but what he did made the rest tick. Other players that stood out were Sandro the striker, the new David Villa, and the two wingers adama and especially Ebwelle. We should be throwing a lot of money at Ebwelle. He`s lightening and full of tricks. Him and Samper off them would be very nice.

Exactly right you can always pay at the gate but it's not been that clear due to the way it was advertised. More thought needs to go into promoting the matches as i think we should be getting at least 3000 for these games.

Lack of good parking and public transport to Hyde is not a help. But there is also a melaise at City regarding Res/Youth - THFC get nearly 10k when paying for entry - we get about 2k for a free Fri night game during the hols at the Etihad - says it all really.
