I haven't seen him in real life apart from highlights but it is very difficult to say if he will ever be ready.

There are hundreds, probably thousands of players who were like Pozo and never made the step up.

He looks very talented and if he wants to he has some of the best players to learn from in the first team and soon the best facilities.

This. I like Pozo, think his goalscoring record is impressive, but like CTID101 said above, there have been loads of people in his situation before. The best thing the club can do is not rush him, just give him plenty of time!

Anyone reckon that Suarez is a tad overrated ?
I'll wait for him to go on loan and play some first team somewhere before declaring him overrated.

Though for being our 'top prospect' and yet going on loan (he isn't going to get any time here this season) that doesn't fill me with optimism.

this kids need moving once they get to a level so they dont stagnate, lower leagues where they can get game time at proper combative level which you dont get in the academy or eds

Well said. It's a fine balance to strike and individual to the player . Suarez looks a bit stale to me and a loan move would be good for him. Pozo and Lopez are a couple of years younger so another year then a loan spell should ready them.

I understand the thinking but on this one I disagree.I have definitely not seen loads of people like Pozo before. Yes some have shone at young levels like he is doing but he isn't doing it just because he is very quick or very strong it's because he has great talent.

He can use both feet ,has excellent close control, reads situations very well, takes a tackle well ,can dribble, play clever little one twos.I do agree though not to rush him but I think he is a serious talent and it won't be long before he features in a first team squad imo.

I thought the very brief cameo from Ntcham tonight was awesome but overall MotM for me was Huws.An all round top performance

Ntcham looks the bigger talent to me. Pace strength and skill well in advance of his years. He's going to be a beast of a player.

Rusnak was easily MOM tonight, he was class

Huws is a lovely player; he's played well every time I have seen him and tonight was no exception. Always composed he plays the game simply, winning and retaining possession. He is a very able DM for the future.

If people have seen loads of players like Pozo at that level, they can't have been watching City. I've been watching youth & reserve games since the late 60's have rarely seen anyone at City anywhere near that standard at that age.

Just watched the interview with George Evans on the official site.

What a tremendous young lad with a great attitude. As he said if he gets on the pitch for the first team he will be the first local lad to go right through the age groups and achieve first team status.

All the best George. I sincerely hope you make it.
Hopefully he can progress onto the 1st team.
Btw if anyone knows the name of the opening tune (or one similar) in the video let me know.
