I'd rather bring on Lopes than sinclair...at least Lopes is in our future plans.

Can't see a future for Suarez as Lopes is already ahead of him in the pecking order.

Henshall and Drury stuck on the bench again in League Two, some of these loans are very frustrating. Johansen starting again for Scunthorpe though, 0-0 after 75 minutes.

As for Lopes, he may be barely 17 but he'd probably be starting at many clubs around Europe. For that reason we should loan him next season if we don't intend to use him, the U21 system does no good if there are better options for players.

Where do we loan them if no other club wants them?

Very difficult for any team especially lower league to justify taking an 18yr old on loan and starting him over the seasoned pros at that level no matter how many goals he has scored. Every mistake would be looked at by the fans who would then criticize the manger for playing some spotty teenager who wears pink boots and has come from City over Bill Smith who has played for 15yrs at this level and has been a dependable stalwart for the team.

As has been said the reserves/EDS level isn't very good and the club have made a decision that being involved in the situations that Burton etc are in will be good for them as players and people even if they are not playing.

Yeah that's annoying, but Blackburn aren't in the best position to be playing youth players. Although, I wish he was sent to a club lacking defensive options. I hope he comes back next season a better, more experienced player.

Could he be one of the few youth players Txiki and Soriano promote into the first team squad?

He was beyond awful in his first 3 games according to everyone who watches them.
