There are usually more goals in friendlies. The odds on who will win or draw are awful for friendlies too. Take Ireland V Greece, Ireland are playing a young experimental team as they released it yesterday. I would never risk that game in my accumulator.
But each to there own.
But if you think Ireland are a terrible price that by definition makes Greece a good price. So why, if you're right about the Ireland price, would there not be a good value bet on Greece?
As for the goals galore thing. The bookies price them up on the likelihood of both teams scoring. So just because there's more chance of it happening in a particular match, doesn't automatically make it a better bet because the price will reflect that.
