the official website

Another example is this week's loan report

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Team-news/2012/October/Loanwatch-30-Oct" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Team-news/20 ... tch-30-Oct</a>

it's only one mistake but imo it's mistake that should not happen. It says Emyr Huws played 81 mins when he infact played 90 mins. Like i said it's small but it's unprofessional giving out wrong info.

if you follow the guys who run the website on twitter you'll see they're called content producers. not journalists. this shows in every single article they write. full of errors. not good enough.

I think live streams of EDS matches would be awesome. I mean they already have all of their cameras and equipment set up.

Exactly. It could also serve as an added source of income for the club. Even at just 5 pounds a month for the content with 20k subscribers that's an extra 1.2 million pounds a year. Can't hurt the bottom line that.

imo good site

it is good but not exceptional, too often i resort to the OS for statistics on player appearances and goals scored, but nearly every time the stats are wrong or i do not trust that they are up to date.

the club have got all the right ideas - i can't think of any sections of the website that are missing - but what is there often contains basic errors and is not updated regularly enough

I sent a "tweet" to the MCFC Geeks who cover our website asking why there was no player profiles and more eds/academy coverage.

They replied with,

players profiles are being covered as we speak, the EDS games are all covered and we're also working on EDS player profiles...

...little short staffed at the moment and working on lots of projects...some sneak previews later today on @mcfcgeeks

Nice enough of them to reply and lets hope they can get it sorted out quickly or I will be sending more angry "tweets" :D

I think it's great, but the lack of EDS and academy content, including player profiles, has been an on-going issue for years and years, and is something that even the major website overhaul of a couple years back hasn't rectified.

There should be more content on the EDS and academy, any half-decent Prem club website should have more than ours does currently.

Also, I agree with the earlier comment about players wearing last season's strip - a small detail but pretty amateurish, given we're now in November!

Otherwise I'm pretty happy with it - as others have mentioned, CityTV is great, and I think the website as a whole is pretty easy to get around.

another example - <a class="postlink" href="http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Match-reports/2012/November/West-Ham-v-City-EPL-3-November" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Match-report ... 3-November</a>

Sinclair down as an unsued sub.
