It is only Tuesday and I am already a nervous reck ahead of the CS on Sunday I keep thinking about all the possible things that could happen when we play the scum
I know some people on here and people outside City think that the game on Sunday is just a glorified friendly, I personally think it is like any other competetive derby game, it would mean so so much to us all if we beat the scum at Wembley again and I am experiencing those nerves I got during the build up to the FA Cup Semi-final and final, obviously the FA Cup is more important but this is still a game against the scum and I am bloody nervous
 
Nowhere near as bad as for the semi/final. Looking forward to it more than anything.
 
No not me, sign of the times & how far we've come, I'm just excited. Can't wait. Come the end if the season no one remembers the comm shield, it's just a taster and I for one am famished.
 
If we win - clearly a demonstration of what's to come this season.

If we lose - clearly irrelevant and as a friendly has no bearing on the coming season.

Should be a good day out.
 
I'm not nervous about the CS, it means very little (although we'll be outsinging United fans loudly at the pub, and a win would be sweet) - I'm nervous about the start of the premier league.... we could challenge this year, and I just don't want us to implode early. Too many years supporting City have me conditioned to fear it.
 
The only thing I am nervous about is picking up injuries or a stupid sending off.

I can see Balotelli being targetted.

Whilst a win would be good I am not overly concerned if we dont win. The Semi would have pissed me off for weeks had we lost. I reckon this would be hours.
 
I could care less about the CS I won't even be watching it as I'm away, if im honest i think it's a waste of time but good luck to those who are going but I don not want to feed the FA fat cats anymore of my money.

It all starts against Swansea for me can't wait for that!!

If it were a CS game against Chelsea for instance, I think it would be sightly calmer. I wouldn't be bothered too much about losing the CS, but I would be bothered about losing to United whether thats CS, PL, CL or a kickabout in the park.
 
I'm just looking forward to seeing the team again. Confidence is high before the season, would be typical City to get thrashed and deflate us all.
 
I'm always nervous when we play the rag scum! Extra nervous as this will be my young lads first City game, a derby and at Wembley! i hope City don't let me down, my first game we won 10-1. I will settle for any kind of win. Come on City do em

To clarify for you as you are obviously under the age of 18: No you fucking ignorant, backward ****, we are playing Manchester United. They are based in Trafford. I thought every **** knew that.

Okay sorry if I offended you by calling the scum "The Salford Scum" but having said that the reason I used the term was as they have a large fan base there and I know not all of Salford supports them and it is a bit stereotypical from me and for that I apologise and I will edit the post
But I am not under 18
