Anyone had a go on the golf this week? Got Bobby Mac at 40s and Rose e/w at 75s. Should be an interesting tournament with the volatile weather up there.

E/W bets on McIlroy and Rahm and I'll watch as much of The Open as I can this weekend.

Played in local course to where I grew up and know area well. Was home last week as they were gearing up for it. Had tickets for last practise day but too expensive to fly back again so gave it to a mate. Shame Ramore Wine Bar felt need to almost double prices so fish n chips almost £30. Pint of Guinness £8 and more expensive than actually on the course

Hovland ew

Aberg ew

Small ew bets on Sam Burns and Max Homa

Free bet on Morikawa to win

Would love to see Bob McIntyre do it

Small each way on Tyrell Hatton @25/1 but, as ever with the Open, I’m sure the weather will play its part. Would love to see Fleetwood break his duck but I’m yet to be convinced he isn’t another Westwood/Monty when it comes down to finishing off in the big events.

4 hours 45 minutes for 14 holes for Rory’s group. I know it’s a difficult course and the weather etc but it does become a hard watch after a while.

Rory starting to look like a weekend hacker, he is all over the shop.
He's going to be in the mix come the weekend.

Like you say, hacking about all over the place, some wayward tee shots and yet still only 3 off the lead.

When he starts playing his best stuff, not many will live with him.

That's what I'm thinking too. Had a poor back 9 but he's 3 shots off the lead. He seems to put in one bad round in every major, if that was it he's right on the money here.
