As annoying as it is.... We need to try and forget about this fellow blues, let the scum have their fun. They have got another thing coming if they think they will walk all over us at home. We had good players missing today and they won through a bent ref, try not to let this annoy you blues!!

its hard to forget when we have clearly been dicked here by the ref.
I have never heard of time being added on for goal celebrations.
he cannot have added time for all 4 goals in the second half so on what grounds can time be added on if he believed the celebration took place in the extra time? it's either both or none.
This comes down to time when the ball is dead and as has already been said the clock is not stopped every time this happens so why is a goal any different.
Let's face it the worst delays are at free kicks in shooting range of goal and penalties when minutes are wasted and we never get extra for those.
Atkinson and Wiley have fucked up here or they are bent - take your pick

Its a pity that no referee has replied to this, but there is NO time added on at all.

The extra time comes from the official match watch being stopped. They wear 2 normally, one runs without stopping, the other is stopped, that's how they get the extra time.

Before we equalised there had been 4 second half goals {edit sorry 3 before we scored}, each probably 1/2 to 1 minute celebrations, and 2 subs as well. The referee should stop his official watch for each of these.

He will have indicated the extra time to the 4th official before we scored (4 minutes seems reasonable to me for 3 goals and the odd minor stoppage).

We then scored right on 90 minutes (and took about a minute before they kicked off again), plus there was a sub as well.

We need to forget this extra time, and look at the crap defending that cost us a point, for the whole of the second half we just kept hoofing the ball clear to nobody, and it kept coming straight back, we defended way to deep, and it we gave them 2 free headers !

We lost today because the team as a whole defended poorly, not because of the referee, had it not been for Given, we'd have lost long before the 96th minute. I know we're all gutted about how it ended, but FFS the real reason was crap defending, especially on set peices and crosses, all 4 of their goals came from one or the other.

There were 4 minutes added time, with three substitutions in the second half. The medics weren't called onto the pitch in the second half. So why was nobody cautioned for time-wasting?

4 minutes were added for the whole 45 minutes which in itself was a joke. Then the ref finds another 2 1/2 minutes in the 4 minutes of injury time. The nonsense of it beggars belief. The only thing you can deduce is that the ref is biased and the FA & Premier League are corrupt.

Absolutely right , and my thoughts too ....... no way was even the original four minutes justified ....... i hardly recall a trainer being on , or anyone wasting time ...... and subsitutions at that point were minimal.

A defence can't hold out under constant, relentless, pressure. If we'd have kept possession long enough to get in their half now and again it could have been different. I think we panicked and showed no composure on the ball, at times.
Great game, though (against 12 men: Apart from the extra minutes many of his decisions were badly against us.) We only have to remember that we're on the way up and they're going in the opposite direction. We'll finish above them.
