No way mate, they are championship quality at best, would get trashed for first season and relegated before they could use the money to improve

They're easily on a par with the likes of Wigan, Pompey etc but atleast they'd have a go. And you know for a fact places like Ibrox and Hampden Park would be fortresses.

Foiled. Good effort though ;)

So you want Queens Park in the Prem?

Hello Charlton
Hello Southampton
Hello Cardiff ( i know !! but imagine the banter)

whats your perfect prem teams ?

and yes i know we dont want the scum in, but im being realistic

I like Charlton, but QPR are better (especially after so many years of ... Fulham)
No Southampton, they stayed 28 (?) years in top flight while we roller-coastered.

I guess i'm the only one who would like to see WBA ...

Out: Portsmouth, Burnley, Hull, Wigan, Bolton, Blackburn, Fulham.

In: Forest, Newcastle, Sheffield Wed, Sheffield Utd, Derby, Leeds, Norwich.

A bit unfair though, these "nobody" teams have earned the right to play in the Premiership.

why Norwich as a matter of interest! I've been to carrow rd and found them a bunch of amateur football fans!?

Fucks sake, always end up making a tit of myself.

They always seem to get good crowds, no matter how shit they are playing. In my defence I've never actually been there just going by what I see on the TV.

No i want to see English teams in the EPL!!!

France is quite close so we could involve French teams as well, now they would add some spice, infact holland aint to far away so might as well include them

Funny how Scottish teams didnt want fuck all to do wit us until all the money turned up hey!!

to be fair bairn in the "shitty city years " places like ipswich and norwich were good days on the beer! But you couldn't help thinking that it was a bit of a backward place that would never challenge for honours. ( although Ipswich did in europe)

I always felt more comfortable in the big cities, playing teams like Bristol city, Birmingham, Leeds.

It always hurt more losing to a " smaller" team! and I don't mean that in a disrespectfull way at all even though it may read like that!

Agreed. All their fans seem to have migrated to Old Trafford.

Alot of fans here saying Blackburn shouldn't be in the prem based on "fan merit"

There is a reason why Bolton, Blackburn, Wigan, Burnley all get lower attendances - these four clubs are all in striking close proximity to each other - I mean if you live around those areas Prem football is on your doorstep from many clubs...
Least not forget how close Scum/City are to Bolton.

Newcaslte have this "following" simply because there is no other club there, Sunderland is its own area. if Newcastle was a city on the outskirts of Lancashire they wouldn't have that kind of following.

Blackburn won the premier league - that merits them a deserved spot in this league, fans or no fans. no empty seats when they play Burnley is there?
They'd probably still have sold out games every week and won more trophies if Mr. Walker was a 20yr old I.T Tycoon who supported the club and not some old man who died soon after.

But as regards to history sure i'd rather see Notts Forest/Leeds back in top flight but on that argument you could say PNE deserve a premier league spot as do Norwich City and Ipswich Town

Always a top away day stay over great yarmouth on the piss cant fault it

There are a number of local sides that have a dreadful away following, even for ten or twenty miles up the road. This is on top of the fact they can hardly raise fifteen thousand home supporters. Fulham I like as a club, but again woeful away support and Portsmouth is just too far away.

Out Blackburn, Wigurn, Bulturn, Fulham and Portsmouth.
I don't know why people nominate Hull. They have decent home attendances, a modern stadium and a loyal away following.

In Barcodes, Leeds, Ipswich, Derby and West Brom

Blackpool and Preston but I stop short of Oldham

all southern clubs can be sacrificed to northern teams esp Fulham

Cant do that to me, i live near fulham!!! and the fact they actually a fully decent premiership team compared to some of the shitty names being thrown around on here

Trust me on this one, rangers and celtic wouldn't last a minute in england. And no, the atmospheres at ibrox and celtic park are not incredible like some of you are thinking, a bit like old trafford tbh. Unless they play each other that is. I'd want leeds, sheff wed, forest, derby, leicester back in the prem. Bolton, wigan, stoke, hull, blackburn to drop out
