World, on behalf of all Mancunians I would like to apologise for the musical crimes committed by David Grey. I am truly sorry and only hope in response to this disturbing news that future Mancunians will guard against crimes of this ilk with the vigilance it so deserves. David Gray has made some good stuff, though.

No he's not. He was a weird head wobbling twat and he was shit. I was working in a record shop one Xmas when he had a new album out and it was played in full every 90 minutes or so. I've never wanted to kill myself quite so much as I did during those dark times. I survived but not without numerous mental and physical scars.
