If that was England there would be news reporters wading through the streets, demands that the army step in, sky blaming the government, the bbc blaming farmers and blue moon blaming Thatcher.
Why didn't they bolster their flood defences after the last floods in 1823?
i shall return to the police station toady
and ask why are there no umbrella shops,
let alone wellington boots on sale.
 
Dhobi Ghat in Mumbai - allegedly the worlds biggest outdoor laundry complete with its own viewnig platform from where this photo was taken a couple of weeks ago - compare and contrast the abject poverty versus the 21st century skyscrapers nearby!

Looks like the ‘Docklands’ when that first went in, maybe still does, been a long time since I was there

A quick shot on the way home from a walk today. Not the sharpest of images because it's handheld at 1 second exposure to allow the light trails (f9, ISO100, 28mm). With around 3-stops of optical image stabilisation on the camera, it's the equivalent of the camera shake of approximately 1/8th of a second exposure, which is still 2-stops short of the 1/30th required at 28mm. Bloody hard work shooting at that speed and getting it anywhere near sharp.

You lost me at f9…that’s an airline code where I’m from! ;-)
