Hmmmm now you are testing the memory. I do remember a Seahawk but I would have said it was a different pub.

Yep I was right. Hang on whilst I accept the accolades, pats on the back and of course the medal.
OK back with you. The Sea Hawk was on Bold Street the Eagle was on Robert Adam/ Charles Barry Crescent.

similar looking ' estate' pub I think?....flat roof....blood on the door handle etc..

Some designer will have been paid thousands for that and will no doubt win awards.
John Nash, William Kent, Robert Adam and some other bloke designed and built the Crescents in Hulme. I dont think they ever did give their awards back when the deserted derelict uninhabitable Crescents were bulldozed.
That building is an eyesore.
