by this stage it was a forgone conclusion that the wall was coming down.

i climbed through one,
and entered no-man's land to take this photo.
if i'd been foolish enough to have done it a few weeks earlier i'd've been shot.

it was a sight seen by very few people other than soldiers.

I did the full cliff walk today.
All the way around to Howth Harbour. IMG_4442.jpegThis Ireland’s Eye and Lambay Island in the background.
The day is so clear, behind Lambay you can see the Mountains of Mourne in Northern Ireland.
