Lord Irvine Laidlaw. Owns this 65million quid superyacht The Lady Christine. Docked outside our building recently in Queensland.
In 2008, Baron Laidlaw was described by The Guardian as a "Monaco-based tax exile"

Lord Laidlaw was criticised in April 2007 in the press for failing to become UK tax resident despite being appointed to the House of Lords.
He's apparently worth 750 million pounds but apparently pays no UK residence tax,
It's got a helicopter on the back as well and apparently a crew of 10.
Not that work if you can get it, sailing around the world :)

Time they stopped using the description "tax exile" and called them "tax avoider"

Holders of UK passports receiving the protection of the UK and paying nothing for it
