i thought you were being daft at first,
but it actually does look like that, doesn't it.

i'm so used to seeing this place is falling down
i didn't even think of it that way.

in point of fact,
a combination of heavy winds and salty water decay the buildings rapidly.
some people simply give up trying to fix them.
