I seen quite a few vids of that Billy Moore sometime last year, like the way he engages with people from all walks, up n down the UK n even off the beaten track, speaks to them with respect n dignity, always follows up to check in on their well-being etc, he's done some really good ones around London, too.

Lets everyday people tell it as it is, doesn't belittle them n comes across as decently genuine, from what i've seen.

I don’t agree with all his views but he’s not a bellend like many of the others who do this sort of thing. Plus he used to be a crack and heroin addict, homeless and been in prison himself. He’s turned his life around and is genuine with his videos. He speaks to these people (who the likes of Veitch calls things ‘crackyhead junkie wankers’ and they all hate him for it), Moore understands their plight much more.

That being said, he’s still been spat at and attacked by people on the streets in his Manchester videos. He goes all over, goes the the roughest of rough areas in every town and city in the country and only in Manchester has he been started on.

The thing is, he gives platforms to everyone far left or far right and anything in between. and when he’s tried to engage the far left, they all start screaming ‘Nazi’ and ‘Fascist’ at him and tell him to fuck off. Whereas the right will engage with him much more so it’s better for content to actually show engaging people and have conversations with them rather than wankers who just shout crazy slogans and shout without any discourse.

Pic Gardens has been a disgrace for about 15 years. The Berlin Wall didn’t help. The police and council should have cleaned it up years ago. To be fair most of the city centre is a safe and enjoyable place to visit. The drug dealers and aggressive beggars make life a misery for everyone else.

I think most of Billy Moore’s content is good and generally balanced. He shines a light on areas which have been ignored by the mainstream media. He also interviews and encourages those who have turned their life around. Veitch on the other hand is essentially a poverty voyeur who exploits people.

Moore and Veitch don’t like each other for that very reason. Moore had to spend a lot of time telling people he wasn’t just another Charlie Veitch and that he didn’t agree with Veitch’s style or attitude and Veitch saw his arse and called him out in a video. Everyone was egging Moore on to knock the fucker out.

Although they have agreed to be civil with each other now and do speak. Veitch is shit scared of him haha!

Like you say, Moore goes all over but spends more time in Manchester than anywhere else. He’s really highlighting the plights of the city that is certainly never shown by mainstream media.

When he goes to the city centre, he always ends up showing Piccadilly Gardens. Like someone’s said in the last few pages, it must make the Council think that something big needs to be done in the Gardens.

For me, the first thing I’d do is put a roof on the bus terminus (making the terminus feel like it’s underground when you’re in it) and make access from Market Street <> Portland Street over the top of the bus Stn and Met stop with a nice open gardened surface and nice steps up and down. The bus station is dangerous and grubby and is the first core thing that’s wrong with the whole square in my opinion.
