The Premier League trophy?

The real trophy was at our place on the final day, there was no Helicopter taking a trophy anywhere.

Fair play if true… sure Barry did an interview saying he seen the chopper…..

How would Barry see it from the ground, maybe he watched this ........

my understanding is that the trophy with premiership on it is the original, the premier league one is a copy from when the sponsor changed. each team that wins the league gets it's own version of the trophy!

I thought it was the Fa carling premier league when first formed, then premiership, then back to premier league?

Anyway, boosting this thread only to say i saw the team poster in town today for sale, and the trophy is on it - but it says premiership on it!
The one on the last day when we won it, and also the parade, and at the supporters do i went to, says premier league.

I was lucky enough to have the trophy at my work a couple of weeks ago.

They said it was the real one as it is engraved with Barclays premier league and the other one isn't.

The crown does come off.

It is stored in the police cell in the stadium under lock and key when not in use.

i cant remember a time and havent looked it up but has the trophy been lifted at an away ground?
