As we all know certain papers seem on perception to have a hidden agenda against us which at times can border on being vindictive.
Theirs always a lot of bullshit & made up stories whenever you open (or read on the net) an article but surely it's about time our hierachy started to get a lot tougher with the likes of the Mirror, Sun, NOTW etc?.

I mean today, the Tevez story today, ok Carlos may have said he is struggling to get motivated after Argentina got knocked out of the World Cup, understandable, but he did NOT say "I don't want to play for City again". So the Mirror decides to concoct a story & twist this to say he may not want to play for us,Madrid may sign him. Guess what, Carlos turns up at Carrington today. Would Ferguson have allowed such an article at United?, no chance so why should we.

If I was within the club I'd be hunting down this journo & threatening legal action. Tevez also stated last week that he's happy so theirs no problem.
The same with Adebayor & others, yet im convinced they (the journos) sit down at night & think "how can I distrupt Man City tomorrow"

Their doesn't seemed to be hardly any mischevious articles on other clubs, just us, I can understand it to an extent as most of it is jealousy & they don't want us to be successful but surely the club must take a tougher stance on these blatant and misleading stories.

That is the nature of free speech whether it right or wrong. We could have our very own TV channel or newspaper but why waste money we would be restriced in what can we show on the channel and the articles in the paper would be a little one sided. We were very sharp with the free watches story and whilst current stories are not the most positive they are laughable.

All fans think the media is against them, all fans can produce what they see as negative stories against their own team, players and teams occasionally do try to take action against papers when they see a story as damaging, some succeed but the majority don't (for any number of reasons ) and most don't even bother. If it's not bothering the club or the player why should we let it bother us the fans? Oh and by the way, we are big news at the moment so you'd better get used to it.

a couple more years and then we will hold the power to control the press and theyll be arselicking us like gay rimmers

Thanks Joey said:

You may have to explain what that means ................................on second thoughts dont bother :-)

Hate the fucking media.

Last night media muppets: Tevez too depressed to return to City. Mourinho alerted.

Hours later on the official website: Tevez reports back for training.

They just print bullshit. Not even clever or believable bullshit, just lame bullshit.

You left the MuEN out of the piece. The manager can ban them from his press conferences a la baconface but that's all that can be done, really. Let's be honest, the club does not want to let these arseholes think that what they say is of any importance, even though it offends the fans, which is fair enough. As for the poster saying all fans feel similarly, well that's true, but they are mistaken. Not even Chelsea had to put up with the unrelenting lies and vindictiveness that we have. However, it is only a matter of time until we start shoving it back in their faces, and when we do, we need to remind these arseholes that we haven't forgotten what they said...

easy don,t buy their shit newspapers, i haven,t bought one for 3 years, i had a guy come to my house the other week asking me to have men delivered, i told him i wouldn,t wipe my arse with that rag mag mate, he said it does columns on city, i replied yes lies and bad stuff mate writen by a man united fan, just don,t buy it and tell them why? listen even if city won the champs league or anything else we still would not get good press and media coverage untill all the shithead big four gutter journalsts and ex big four players on tv are replaced, it is nothing new this has been going on since the sixties?

It will change.

Sky are shitting us as we threaten their cartel in more ways than one. We don't depend on their money and a shot across the bows would be a media tie up with ESPN.
