I'd rather Pogacar won but the crash & injury and the way Vingegaard has been riding recently means I can only see one winner.

I have the horrible thought that he may do it comparatively easily too. Hope not though as a real battle in the mountains is amazing to watch.

Would love Cav to get that one more win but not sure it's going to happen. Maybe he can try something different & unexpected and get in a breakaway on a suitable stage.

In terms if Pogacar and wrt his rivals, I think you are unduly pessimistic.

It’s always brilliant to see a rider show the courage to go solo from some way out like that and hold off the pack. They get caught 95% of the time, but not today :-)
