People that have zero knowledge of History, Wars, Causes of conflicts coming on to social media like Facebook posting poppy pictures, poems and other shared posts. It's not so much a problem, it's just bandwagon jumping. ask these people in a few months what date Remembrance Day is and they wouldn't have a scooby.
 
The politicians don't really give a fuck about the deaths of soldiers and injuries to them, lots of them having horrendous injuries. They are just seen to care.

Alas, they will always find some excuse for going to war (and magically find enough money to finance that war). Blair and the fanciful weapons of mass destruction - he was desperate to cling to Bush's coat-tails and go to fight (or get others to do the actual dangerous bit) without considering the consequences of what would follow in the Middle East.
Now he says he's not responsible for this mess.
