Theres some gratuitous multi quoting on this thread. We were still singing at 3-1 last night. Mancini will get his 3 months and might get the job if he guides us to 4th place and 70 points like he said he would. Personally on what i have seen in the last 5 weeks ill be surprised if we get more than 56 points and it will be bye bye mancini.

I'd agree if it wasn't for this and people saying "This is Mark Hughes team". I thought we had a good team put together that needed a better manager?

Are we now saying players of the likes of Ade, Phillips, Barry, Bridge, Toure, Robinho, Ireland, Given, De Jong are not good enough? And we need better players!

Now I'm not saying there isn't one or two of course. But if that's sincerely what we're putting forward as a fact, then maybe mansour should just cut his loses now and go buy manure instead of spending another 200 million replacing these players with even better ones, even if you can find enough replacements to come to city!!

Ade - Not the player i thought he was
SWP - Cant cross to save his life, much better right wongers out there
Barry - plays well on occasions, one of our better players
Bridge - great player, gives 100%
Toure - waste of space
Robinho - enough said, good ridance
Given - great shot stopper and thats it. Another fuck up last night
Ireland - Gone from one of the best midfielders in the country to someone who looks completely lost on a football pitch
De Jong - great player, solid and gives 100%

Just because we payed a lot of money for players doesnt mean they will all fit in. We need a big clearout in the summer in my opinion. Lets just hope roberto mancini is still there to sort it out.

I understand some ignorant fans cutting down players like Robinho and Adebayor (who are still class), but cutting up our OWN ACADEMY STARS SWP and Ireland?!?!? Not only that, but Given too?!?!?

SWP is not as good as he used to be, he doesnt run at players as much and his crossing abbilities for a winger are aweful
Stevie Ireland was argunaly the best midfielder last season in the league, he is aweful compared to last season, even in the most recent games when he has been playing "in his favourite position" And yes i am a season ticket holder by the way, and regards Given, he is a freat shotstopper, but thats it. He never comes off his line, doesnt command his area and distribution is woefull. its about time people took a reality check and stopped thinking we have a squad full of superstars as infact we have very few!!!

I think the problem is that we have some great individual players who couldn't give a fuck if City win lose or draw.
Ade is a prime example, I think the guy is a class act but the arsenal shirt incident and even the way he seems to interact with the rest of the team in warm ups etc suggests he doesn't really want to play for city.
He's not the only one.
It's no good having players here just for the money. Theres no doubt that top players at other clubs earn vast wages but they still seem to have their clubs best interests at heart e.g. Rooney, Gerrard, Torres, Lampard, Fabregas. I don't really feel any of our current "top" players, maybe aside from tevez and bellamy have that passion.
SWP looks disinterested, Ireland seems to have lost even a sense in pride in his own performance, Toure couldn't give a fuck etc etc.
