Ha, By all means eat KFC people, i just disagree with their ethical standards in how they produce their products and after seeing their advertising i disagree with their marketing approaches.

on a serious note, Political Correctness has gone mad, i fully agree... but this advert is not and it is racially offfensive, i dont know any nonwhite friend who finds the nursery rhyme offensive nor the blackboard... its usually ultra liberal doo-gooders who take it upon themselves to be self-proclaimed advocates for nonwhites... something many nonwhite friends hate more than actual racists.

There is a whole series of these ads as a survival guide to the summer of cricket. Political correctness gone mental. The yanks jump up and down saying it's racist because it depicts african american's as all loving fried chicken... what a crock of shit, they're fucking west indian for a start... in the next ad he appeases a security guard with some chicken wrap thing.... is that saying security guards are so corrupt they can be bribed with a KFC twister???? The World Security Guard Alliance must be up in arms over that one!!!... fair dinkum... people just need to calm the fuck down and think about what they are saying. Apartheid was racism. slavery was racism. the Aboriginal treatment by this country (Australia) throughout its history has been racist. a fucking KFC commercial is anything but.

I went to South Chadderton High School between 89' and 94'. The school was made up of about 55% whites and 45% pakistani's. The words 'shut up you white honky' were banded about on a daily basis. Now, can someone please tell me what 'honky' means?

I don't think the guy intended it to be racist when he made it - I don't think Aussies usually think about stuff in that much depth (is that racist?) But it's a remarkably bad error of judgement considering fried chicken is traditionally the food of southern American slaves who were transported there via, err, the West Indies. The racist behaviour i presume you suffered at school was disgraceful and just because someone is nonwhite does not mean they can practice this type of behaviour either.

I experienced several schools (having lived in different areas) and although i couldn't give you an exact figure of each schools ethnicity at the time i was there (haven't got a clue on how you obtained these figures) We seemed to get along together with my social circle of friends consisting of whites, blacks, asians and so on... Only gripe was the segregation it seemed from Asian Girls and the rest of pupils (including asian boys)
