City fans were rocking a rag's car? Had he done anything other than wear a rag shirt in Manchester?
I was going to say the same, but can't be arsed getting into a right/wrong debate tonight. What I did instead was have a rye smile at the irony of it all, people calling a rag stupid for driving from A-B, when in the same thread morons who rocked his car were mentioned. Just hope he didn't have any kids in his car.

All i'll say is, I think we're better than that.

If he was being a prick or was provoking some of our lot then it's his own fault but if all he did was sit in his car with his rag shirt on then whoever attacked his car needs to have a long look at themselves and imagine if the shoe was on the other foot.

Exactly, and no doubt if the shoe was on the other foot, United fans would have rocked a car with a blue in it, and would rightly get slagged off on here for doing so. Blue, Red or bleeding pink, thats a shithouse thing to do unless, like you say, he was being a cocky gobshite.

Bum bum!

I saw the guy in the car and no one was giving him any grief at that point but he definitely had a kid in the passenger seat. It may seem ridiculous driving past at that time in a United shirt but you do have to remember that not everyone is as passionate about football as we are.

If I drove down Chester Road at 17:30 on a Saturday afternoon with my City top on I'd expect to not only get my car rocked, but to have the windows smashed and a fair few digs in the face!

It would be my own fault and I'd understand that!

Even if you weren't really that interested in football?

Funny you should say that.....

I used to have a van with a City badge stuck on the rear window. After finishing work got caught in the traffic on Chester road after a rag game.....plenty of Vs and the like coming my way....I waited til I had an escape route before giving a few the one finger!

Doesn't make it right though does it? Especially if the guy a few quotes up is right and there was a kiddie in the car. I'm hopeful someone will post that a few proper city fans stopped the nobs who were doing it, if there was a kid in the car.
