Lets face it, they will be our closest rivals for this title.

Looking at their squad, with long term injuries Vidic, Fletcher, Cleverley.

Anderson and the twins seem to be made out of glass, and Berbaflop is on his way. And with Morrison and Pogba making for the exits, they are really starting to look threadbare around the edges.

Now, I'm not one who believes that they haven't got any money for transfers, we saw that last summer when they spent 50 plus million.

So who do you think they will go for in this transfer window?

There are rumours that baconfaces pal, Jorge Mendes has agreed terms with Nicolas Gaitan. Is he any cop, has anyone got any info on him?

It's in the press they've tabled a bid for Messi, Sneijder, Kaka and Van Persie but we all know they are more likely to sign Neill Webb.

Gaitan is an end-of-season deal, not January window. Their injuries are starting to clear up now, hopefully Shakin' Bacon stays out of the market.

When you look at their team you can see the areas where they need players. Starting with

Goalkeepers. DeGea, Lindegaard, Kuszczak, Amos.
They have numbers but they still don't know who their best GK is. De Gea is good but he hasn't adapted to this league very well. He probably will come good with more experience. He needs to build some strength and physicality, learn how to command his goal area in the Premier League. They will probably sell Kuzczak in this window as they have no use for him at all.

Defence. Rafael, Fabio, Ferdinand, Vidic, Smalling, Jones, Evra, Evans, Fryers
They only have one RB. Rafael who is always injured anyway, They really need to sign a RB. With Vidic out for the season, Ferdinand is also likely to go down to injury. Evans is pretty useless too. So they could do with a new CB aswell.

Midfield. Valencia, Park, Scholes, Anderson, Carrick, Giggs,Young, Nani, Cleverley.
Without doubt their biggest problem area. They have great wingers but the center is very weak, They could do with 2 midfield signing but probably won't make them until the summer. They have no quality in CM, no creativity. Bringing back Scholes is a sign of desperation.

Strikers. Rooney, Welbeck Hernandez, Berbatov, Diouf, Owen
If Berbatov goes in January and I believe he will. They might go for a new striker this month. I saw some rumors that the want Demba Ba.

Rags won't sign Demba Ba. Their insurance won't cover his dodgy knee. Like the first time they tried to sign mule van nistelhorse. Doctor said his knee was gonna break, and a few weeks later he snapped his cruciate. The stoke doctor even said Demba Ba was a big risk.

I've read that Zinedine Cleverley is back to training, he should be back in week or two

I heard the Barcelona academy has restructured its approach on training their youngsters upon seeing Cleverley. You know because he is THAT good

Word on the street is that United are close to signing Crystal Palace and England U21 international Right Back Nathaniel Clyne.

Also if they sell Berbatov they are linked to Internacional and Brazil Striker Leandro Damiao
