the relocation window.

Part of the problem with relocating is that there are competing needs. We're up in CB329 at the moment, and miss any sense of atmosphere. But it does mean we get a great view of a high percentage of the goals. Someone came up with the stats and it was something like 75% of the goals City scored are at the North end in the 2nd half. Move for atmosphere and we'll get less goal action. Why do we play right-to-left (seem from main stand/TV camera viewpoint) 2nd half? If they changed their routine, I'm sure it would favour City, that way we'd be kicking into the more atmospheric goal in the 2nd half and we could relocate that way with no inner conflict!

Checked with the ticket office and a nice automatic woman tells me that it's going to be an in-person thing or on the phone. So no online facility for this. Just a crack of dawn trip to Eastlands (80 miles) or sitting there on the phone for ages. Any veterans of the window know whether going there is any more successful than just ringing in?

Its pretty much pot luck. You could be first in the queue at the ticket office, relocate and the person who's tenth behind you may be relocating out of better seats

Me and a mate are relocating to get two seats together
Somewhere in EL3 row G forward, or EL1 row M back (so long as it's away from the numpties in the corner of East and South)

I've a feeling there will be a wider choice than the relocation window last year as there seems to be quite a lot of discontent with the prices

If you end up in 305 you can get me that pint you owe me

;)

I'll even buy you a pie mate

I think because the away supporters are at that end, they prefer to play it that way. Could change when the expansion is finished and the away supporters are moved probably up into the gods.

swapped a seat last year was in the queue about 45 mins while queuing some punters were on the phone as well but the queue was quicker got here about 9:45 pm it was steady 50-60 people and about the same number when I left

all the desks were staffed and most got sorted in a couple of mins

got the seat I wanted and could have had my 2nd and 3rd choice as well so pretty positive experience
