Waiting for Axelrod to return...
I consider him bad news, but just factoring in the £12m plus whatever we get for Guidetti in January.

Liverpool want him out and will take close to the £16m they paid.

He's cheap as chips and knows the club inside out.

Risk it for a biscuit?

Would certainly take him over Darren Bent.

Whatever I think of him, still one of ours and admits he should never have left.

Nay, nay and thrice nay. Why would we want to disturb the good feeling at the club by bringing an utter fucking loon like Mario back?

I agree .

After all their "we have the standards and culture to keep him in line" stuff,.nothing would be funnier than buying on the cheap and seeing him back in the goals.

Can't see it happening, and wouldnt want to pay more than half what the dippers paid. But if Txiki/MP were ok with it why not?

Wouldnt be boring.

Love him but no thanks. Zero opportunity of us signing him. See Marwood interview with Henry Winter for confirmation.

Indeed:

“You’re always going to have those moments whether it’s Yaya or Joe Hart getting left out last year. The important thing is the group is strong, bring them back in and put an arm around them. What we had in the past was we’d have a Mario moment or a Carlos Tevez moment, and they were completely outside of the group. That’s not helpful for the group.’’ And Marwood’s reaction when he heard Liverpool had signed Balotelli? “Good luck!”
