Agreed. I enjoyed it except Neville got too much air time for me. Loved Nedum and Zabba's contributions but of course has there ever been a more erudite voice in football than Vincent Kompany ?all the contributions were pretty good except Gary Neville, who has clearly never got over our raise to greatness
All made by Sky, yeah. Are they Sky Productions or bought in, where Sly have no editorial control? Why do they still employ a range of canutes like Gary Nutter who can't help but try game after game to clumsily stick the knife in when we have just outplayed yet another team?
Thats what I loved about Mancini, and always will.Mancini referencing the years without a trophy banner at the Swamp was very illuminating - it seemed clear that was an extra motivation for him and the squad.
Mancini was the perfect short-term manager for City. What he achieved was fantastic when you compare that team with the current one. Winning that first trophy (FA Cup) and then the title was immense. I think Conte is similar now and could do a fantastic job at Spurs next season..before he upsets everyone and moves on.Thats what I loved about Mancini, and always will.
He knew he had to take the fight to them at all levels, he understood them trying to humiliate us.
Roberto had the slight edge that was needed at the time. For all the great work thats gone on since, its easy to forget that Roberto's era was when the gritty nasty stuff had to be done. Similar with Gary Cook, a bit flash but guts and the ego to pull it off.
I'll always love that group of players, a bit of edge and attitude amongst them, brilliant group. Different than now but fantastic in their own way. Lots of bottle.
Whatever happened since the guy is an absolute legend.
