There are two codes of Rugby:

Rugby League and Rugby Union, you must be more specific. "Rugby" is a generic term.

It's like saying here are the rules of Football and referring to the rules of American/Gaelic Football.

In league the ball spends most of its time in hands
In union the ball spends most of its time kicked into the car park.
