Not just City related, but Premiership and Europe in general.

Just shows how bad the whole of football is feeling the pinch as barely fuck all is being spent, sure there will be some movement later in the window but scum resigning Scholes, arse with Henry and Villa with Robbie Keane just shows how frightened clubs are of commiting to expenditure at the moment.

Very boring.

Re: The slowest windon ever?

I'm sure that someone is enjoying the press guessing what Ba's release clause is

blame FFP. 12 points back in January, if this was another year Chelsea would have already spend 50m on players.

The window doesnt start til we start the domino effect..

theyre waiting for us. :)

I'd normally agree but tbh I don't think we'll spend too much this window - 25/30 mil absolute tops.

Even shite teams down the bottom aren't trying to spend their way out of trouble, QPR might spend a few quid but nothing overly exciting.

Lets all have a pizza instead then..:) doh !!

Have you ever thought that may be just may be there are not the decent players around who are willing to move in January, it's never that busy anyway.

Most buisiness will be done in the last week

Top teams don't usually buy in jan unless they have an injury or are struggling.

Often panic buys from teams at the bottom.

Just amazes me that things aren't done quicker eg Ned been waiting for a move surely this could have been sorted weeks ago.

It is pointless buying until deadline day in January. You will pay over the odds ridiculously whilst on deadline day you can get certain if not most deals done cheaper...

This does not include last January which to be fair was just obsurd!!!

I expect a busy deadline day this year... cannot wait for Jim White's excellent performance in SSN!!

As predicted, very very boring.

Swanson must be devastated, all that new tech and fuck all to do with it.

Tuesday could well be a damp squib, really can't see much happening on deadline day.

It's nothing to do with football 'feeling the pinch', football revenue has gone UP but so also has debt. The crap transfer window is because of the idiot Platini and FFP. Platini is ruining the fun in football.

City will not buy this window. And I am happy coz it seems if they did, they'd be buying the wrong players, If we are not going to be getting Vertongen (or Hummels) we might as well seat tight with what we've got.

I really don't see much out there that can help us right now.

But if I had my way, I'd look at Vertonghen, Filipe Luis and Isco

If you had your way we'd have a squad of 500

Don't be silly, of course football is feeling the pinch.

The banks won't allow most clubs to spend as they'd be using their overdrafts to do it and times have changed.

Kolarov.
In 45yrs ive never seen anyone so slow in mind as well as deed.

Clyde Best (West Ham circa 1973ish) is the second slowest........................
