The Smiths & Morrissey thread

I had the dis-pleasure of hearing the beginning of a Coldplay song on the radio this morning (didn't really flinch until Chris Martin's voice appeared).

However as I changed channel I happened to notice the title of the song, 'Every teardrop is a waterfall'.

Literally my immediate thought was that this must be plagiarism, that song title has all the fingerprints of a Morrissey lyric (if you close your eyes, you can picture / hear him singing those words in his best John Major vocals whilst twirling a flower or the like).

Is Chris Martin now out Morrissey-ing Morrissey?
