Was on Facebook yesterday arguing with all these American Moz fans who hang on to his every word, all slagging off big bad evil Johnny, saying stupid things like if it wasn't for Morrissey, Johnny would be nowhere.
They got upset when I pointed out it is the other way round.
One suggested I take a look at their respective post Smiths careers to see how wrong I am.
They couldn't grasp that without The Smiths there is no post Smiths solo career for Morrissey and hed still be in his mums bedroom playing 60's girl group records.

Today I had the pleasure of dropping Johnny's statement into the line of chat.
