Ardwicks finest, and top blue
The Smiths are the finest band out of Manchester and he was a key part of that.
Trying to win favours from the Bluemoon leadership is far too late for me.Lol. Are you after brownie points from MES?
Hope not as it will likely be in my local church! The "all are welcome" bit is a little crazy. Every Moz loon in the land will head over there and turn it into a circus - and also the social distancing aspect if it too.
Also read and enjoyed Johnny's book. Seen him live a few times and always put on a good show, has a decent voice to go with his undoubted talents on guitar. A really cool guy, great musician and a blue, whats not to like about him.Read his autobiography when it came out a couple of years ago - Set The Boy Free. Worth a read if ur a fan - I enjoyed it anyway.
Top man. Love his music.
Johnny is a top man. Never really engaged with talk of a Smiths reunion and just did his own thing with some good bands. Only in the last few years has he even started to play Smiths songs live and does them justice. Also walked past him, his wife and lad at City a few years ago and he's about 5 foot tall!!

He is a short arse and a moody twat.
He deserves his own thread.
I think he might actually be the most talented musician/song writer from Manchester.
Everything he touches is class.
Discuss.
